Q. Do you provide the kit? A. Yes , we provide you with a harness and helmet.
Q. What should I wear? A. Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting scuffed or potentially torn against the rocks. Walking boots/shoes are ideal or trainers as a second option. Some of the paths can be wet and slippery. Dress for the weather! It’s always cooler and more breezy by the coast, so warm layers, hats and gloves and waterproofs if the forecast is anything less than hot and dry!
Q. Do we need to bring anything? A. Yes, you will need any medication (asthma pumps, EPI pens) If it’s sunny, make sure you’ve put sun lotion on, you can bring it along if you burn easily. Our guides can carry these items for you.
Q. Do I need to have any experience, can I skip any bits? A. The majority of our customers are complete novices. If you’re really not feeling it, then you can avoid the challenges.
Q. Do I need to be fit? A. A reasonable level of fitness is required. The session is approx 3 hrs long, plus the walk to and from the venue. So it’s a good 4hr day of moving along rocks and uneven terrain, while getting the adrenaline pumping! You’ll certainly sleep well that night!
Q. Do you have age limits? A. 7yrs old is the youngest. No older age limits apply.
Q. What if the weather is bad? A. We’ll still go ahead in the rain, so please be prepared for this. If we do have to cancel due to dangerous stormy weather, then an alternative activity will be offered. If we cannot provide you with an alternative, you will receive a full refund.
Q. Can I take pictures? A. Yes you are welcome to take pictures, this will be at your own risk. Some way of attaching the camera to you is strongly recommended!
Q. Can I spectate from the side if I don’t want to take part? A. There is a coastal path that runs along the top that will allow you to view parts of the session. It is most likely to be uneven and potentially slippery. This will be entirely at your own risk and you will not the responsibility of the guide.
Q. Can I bring my dog? A. The coast path is ideal for dogs if you have a spectator to look after him/her. The abseil adventure is not a suitable course to bring the dog along due to the heights and drops.
